🟠How to acquire a business from your couch (online business listings)
Starting with business aggregator websites is a low risk approach for those beginning their search
The SMB Scoop is going to touch on some places where you can find small cash flowing businesses for sale on the internet. The easiest place to start is online through the very large, very fragmented business broker network.
Proprietary search (direct outreach to a company) works extremely well, but it’s an advanced strategy that I’ve seen newer buyers waste months on before figuring out they can find great companies at fair prices via brokers & investment bankers. When you get started, way easier to go this route. Will dive deeper into proprietary search in other issues
Here are a few of my favorites.
1. WithKumo (aggregates public deals from many sites)
This is such a hack. I use WithKumo to setup auto notifications for my specific search criteria across a bunch of aggregator sites including BizBuySell and hundreds of others. I like set it and forget it products and this one ticks that box and it’s honestly too cheap I hope they don’t raise their price, totally worth it. I used to spend hours checking 25+ different sites for my specific criteria.
There are still some duplicate deals in there, it’s not perfect, but once you clean up your searches, it’s slick & automated and you’re going to see deals as they come out & hit the open market. The founders gave me a coupon code (BENTIGG30) for 1 month free.
I may do a video on how I use it myself if it’s helpful, reply back if you’d want to see this.
2. Other listing sites to look at directly
The best sites to buy an SMB or Online Business:
• Axial . net
• Tresle . com
• Flippa . com
• BizBuySell . com
• BatonMarket . com
• MicroAcquire . comWho's actually bought a business through one?

3. SMB_Attorney hits on some other public sites to look into when buying a business
Buying an established and profitable business is the lowest risk way of making it into the top 1%.
But where do I find one (like this) for sale?
