If acquiring a company is like dating, then operating a company is like marriage. Once you’ve made the decision to commit to one business or one person, the your game changes. Many potential buyers never get to the alter, and never get to experience the joy (and sometimes misery) of growing a company.
I think maybe that’s why I connect personally with entrepreneurs more than any other type of person - a shared understanding of how the world works. Ops has always been hard, it’s why I’ve aligned myself with GSD (Get Shit Done) people. Some ops topics below that caught my attention the past few weeks.
